Todd Jackson will be speaking at the National Employment Lawyers Association’s (NELA’s) 2016 Annual Convention, appearing on Friday, June 24, 2016 (3:45 p.m-5:00 p.m.) as part of a panel on “FLSA Basics: Exemptions Galore & Much, Much More!” with Troy L. Kessler and Jahan C. Sagafi. The panel will cover the basics in terms of substantive FLSA issues, including lesser-known exemptions, what constitutes compensable hours worked under the FLSA, and a variety of regulated rate and damages issues. They will also provide practical tips for how to conduct a proper intake for a FLSA case.
