Feinberg, Jackson, Worthman & Wasow supports organized labor. Our attorneys have successfully represented unions and union workers in wage and hour, employee benefits, healthcare justice, and civil rights advocacy. We partner with unions and non-profit organizations to develop creative legal strategies in support of bargaining and organizing, corporate accountability, and progressive policy goals, particularly in the healthcare industry. Our work includes litigation, agency enforcement, legislative advocacy, and electoral campaigns including ballot initiatives.
We also advise unions with regard to employer-sponsored plans, union-sponsored plans, and jointly administered Taft-Hartley plans; represent individual union members in union-supported claims against plans, plan sponsors, and plan fiduciaries; and represent trusts and other organizations established by or for union members or retirees. We do not provide traditional labor law legal services, and we collaborate with union counsel in advocating for workers’ rights, on an ongoing or project basis.
