On November 21, 2022, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California granted preliminary approval to a proposed $4 million settlement with Defendant Alerus Financial, N.A. The Court had previously granted preliminary approval to a proposed $5 million settlement with Dr. Kali Pradip Chaudhuri and related defendants. Thus, the two settlements have recovered a total of $9 million for the benefit of the class of KPC Healthcare, Inc. ESOP participants.
