Associate Attorney

Feinberg Jackson Worthman & Wasow seeks an associate with 2-10 years of post-law school experience in practice and/or clerkship(s). The successful candidate will be licensed to practice in California and will have excellent research and writing skills, a strong academic record, and demonstrated commitment to workers’ rights, the labor movement, or other forms of community and public service. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

The salary range is $85,000 to $110,000, depending on experience, and the position is bonus-eligible. We offer excellent health benefits and long-term disability coverage as well as ample paid vacation and sick leave.  Associates are provided a CLE budget to cover conferences and trainings.

The position is open until filled, and start date is ASAP.

Workplace Justice Fellowship

Feinberg, Jackson, Worthman & Wasow (FJWW), a plaintiffs’- and union-side workers’ and civil rights firm located in Berkeley, California, seeks a fellow with 0-2 years of post-law school experience in litigation and/or clerkship(s) to serve a one-year term as a Workplace Justice Fellow, beginning in the late summer or early fall of 2023.

Candidates should be licensed to practice in California or expect to be awaiting California bar exam results, as well as have excellent research and writing skills, a strong academic record, and a demonstrated commitment to workers’ rights, the labor movement or other forms of community and public service. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

The salary is $80,000-$85,000 depending on experience. We offer excellent health benefits and long-term disability coverage as well as ample paid vacation and sick leave. Fellows are provided a CLE budget to cover conferences and trainings.

FJWW specializes in public interest litigation on behalf of workers, retirees, unions, and people with disabilities, as well as special projects for labor unions.
