Mary Bortscheller

Mary Bortscheller is Of Counsel to the firm. Prior to joining Feinberg Jackson Worthman and Wasow, she was a partner in the employee benefits practice group at a leading national plaintiffs’ firm, where she led all aspects of complex class action litigation in the federal district and appellate courts, including two cases ultimately decided by the U.S. Supreme Court. Prior to that, Ms. Bortscheller represented a diverse range of clients in state and federal courts as an associate with a Chicago litigation firm.

During law school, Ms. Bortscheller worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Arthur J. Boylan (ret.), Magistrate Judge in the District of Minnesota, and for the law firm Meyer Glitzenstein & Crystal in Washington, DC on environmental litigation.

Before law school, Ms. Bortscheller served as a United States Peace Corps Volunteer in Sichuan Province, China.
