Leticia Chavez is a Workplace Justice Fellow with the firm. During law school, Leticia served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Laurel Beeler of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. She was also a law clerk at Levy Vinick Burrell Hyams and Leonard Carder. Additionally, she was an AFL-CIO Union Summer intern at Communication Workers of America. Prior to that she represented low-wage workers in wage and hour claims at the Women’s Employment Rights Clinic. Leticia was a member of the Golden Gate University Law Review, for which she served as Managing Editor.
Prior to law school, Leticia worked as a union organizer at SEIU Local 721, where she led new organizing campaigns and represented workers in grievance procedures and collective bargaining.
